Unhealed Trauma can cause sleep disorders, nightmares, fear of recurrence, anxiety, depression, and various other mental illnesses.
Healing Traumas allows you to live in the present without been overwhelmed by the thoughts and feelings of the past.
Forgiving those who hurt you frees your soul to restart your life without been energetically connected to the person who hurt you.
ILLNESSES CAUSED BY TRAUMA
Mental illnesses are legitimate defense mechanisms created by our own mind to cope with a world that we don't understand because it does not make sense to us.
Stress, too much pressure, judgement self-loathing are some of the underlying causes of mental imbalances.
When our minds are exposed to excessive levels of stress the body releases cortisol. If your cortisol levels become too high, it can shut down a part of your brain and in the worst-case scenario damage your hippocampus.
HOW TO REDUCE STRESS CAUSED BY TRAUMA
Lower the cortisol levels with meditation, walks, journaling and avoiding caffeine, alcohol, processed foods.
A quick fix on reducing cortisol levels is green tea because it is an excellent source of an amino acid (l-theanine) that reduces stress levels and anxiety. Eating fish, avocadoes, and taking B vitamins can also help.
BIPRODUCTS OF STRESS
ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression could be a biproduct of excess stress, pressure, and traumas in life. Your body can be stuck in fight or flight. It can stem from hyper awareness, feeling overwhelmed or you can become frozen from outside stressors.
ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) affects between 2 to 11% of kids. These kids are defiant and hostile towards their peers because they struggle with listening to authority. We medicate these highly intuitive kids to make them listen in class and to follow orders.
SIDE EFFECTS OF DRUGS
The side effect of giving antipsychotic drugs like risperidone to kids could be hormonal or neurological or it could result in excessive weight gain that could lead to diabetes or even heart failure. We should really nurture these kids, provide direction and look at counselling or any other method that avoids giving these drugs to kids.
Mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar are considered a gift in the eastern world. In the east they believe those individuals are gifted because they can connect and receive information from the spirit realm and other dimensions.

In the west mental illnesses are mis-understood and as such we take the only option, we know, which is medication. With Schizophrenia your thoughts can become influenced & your reality can become distorted from energetic entities.
Your mind cannot understand what it sees and your consciousness gets fractured. You can create other identities & you can hear voices from other realms especially if you have the gift of clairaudience.
BPD (borderline personality)
Someone who can't control their empathy. They see a reflection of themselves in others and feel drawn to project outwardly. They insist on fixing problems that are not their own and then struggle to understand themselves because they have attached to other people’s emotions.
In my personal view these individuals are born healers, they have a burning desire within them to help others overcome their traumas and triggers. If you fit this category, then just maybe the path of the healer is the path for you. Only advice I would give in this respect is heal yourself first before you ever contemplate working on others.
The mental health system is built to push pills that make people more manageable instead of being compassionate enough to try to help them navigate life. Medication only numbs the mind; it doesn’t heal the root cause.

In my work I see a link between mental health disorders and an overactive third eye and crown chakra. If these chakras are overactive, the person can see beyond the veil (spirit realm).
If you struggle with seeing and hearing things that are not of this world, then maybe it is time to find a healer that can close those chakras for you.
It is not something I would personally recommend, however, if the person cannot cope with seeing beyond the veil, then closing the chakras is a far better approach than taking mind numbing drugs.
If there is too much energy being directed towards your third eye or your crown chakra it can cause delusions, schizophrenia, and hallucinations.
If your third eye and crow chakra are under active, then it can result in anxiety and depression, or it could be as simple as a result of your lifestyle or daily stresses.
CONCLUSION
By prioritizing healing and self-care, you can reclaim their inner strength, restore your sense of wholeness, and create a life filled with meaning, connection, and resilience. As we heal the mind, we pave the way for greater well-being, joy, and possibility in all aspects of our lives.
