WHAT SELF LOVE MEANS AND HOW TO EMBRACE IT?


Its the practice of caring for, respecting, and accepting oneself unconditionally.

It involves recognizing your worth, nurturing yourself emotionally, mentally & physically & prioritizing your well-being.


Self-love is not about being narcissistic or selfish but rather about developing a positive relationship with oneself.

SELF LIMITING BELIEFS AND ROOT CAUSES


Self-limiting beliefs come from a part of you that is solely focused on your survival

I cannot do that I cannot have that, or I am simply not good enough.  


ROOT CAUSES


  • You were programmed to believe that you are not good enough

  • You were programmed to not believe in yourself

  • You focus on your fears and failures as opposed to your achievements

  • You focus on lack rather than abundance

  • You believe you are not worthy.

  • If the answer to any of the above is YES then maybe it is time that you ask yourself who or what happened in your life that made you believe this about yourself?


WHY IS SELF LOVE IMPORTANT?


Self-love is essential for your well-being, healthy relationships, self-confidence, resilience, physical health, personal growth, and lasting happiness and fulfillment.


HOW TO PRACTICE SELF LOVE?


  • Tell yourself you deserve it

  • Set small, easy goals for yourself

  • Reconnect with things that you are passionate about

  • Fall in love with yourself, the parts that make you uniquely you

  • Take control of your thoughts and feelings

  • Build up confidence in your abilities

  • Conquer your limiting beliefs

It’s time to accept and embrace who you are regardless of what others say about you.  Always remember what you believe drives what you do, and what you do determines what you achieve in life.

 

Your mind is so powerful, the stories you tell yourself, the things you believe about yourself can define your or prevent you doing the things you are truly passionate about in life.




Words have immense power to shape our beliefs and perceptions. It’s time to change your mindset, that negative programming and counteract those negative self beliefs with empowering affirmations.


EXAMPLES OF EMPOWERING AFFIRMATIONS FOR SELF BELIEF

 

  • I am enough just as I am

  • I deserve love respect and kindness

  • I trust in my abilities

  • I am worthy of success and happiness

  • I believe in myself because if I don’t no one else will  

Repeat these affirmations on a regular basis especially during moments of self doubt or negativity.    This can be incredibly empowering and will put you back in the driver’s seat of your own journey.
